Rubiyat 1995 gray stallion 16h. Correct conformation. Has consistently sired large boned, big bodied, athletic, foals who are willing, easy to train and correct. With limited bookings, therefore small foal crops, Rubiyat's progeny earnings are over $1 million. Fox Tale currently has two 2yo sons of Rubiyat in training at Philadelphia Park (PARX), who are very close to starting. Fox Tale is willing to support Rubiyat in the future, continuing to breed mares to him as well as race the Rubiyat foals. Rubiyat has been in PA for 5 years now, and we feel it is time to move him to a different area. His largest crop of mares bred was in 2009 with 23 mares bred, 20 in foal. Asking $20,000 for him, but would love a chance to lease him.
On another note: Rubiyat has also been a successful sport horse sire, while he stood in VA, producing multiple show ring champions which excelled in Steeplechase and Hurdle racing, Eventing, Dressage, Hunter and Jumper events.
